BLOGGERS ON MY RADAR

Hi ya blogville, I’m back. I finally decided to post again. My schedule has been stark raving mad but I refuse to let it discourage me. I’ve been procrastinating for almost a year now, can't continue doing that. Anyways; I’m here now so no turning back. I’ve been an ardent follower of some blogs for a while and there are some I thoroughly enjoy and can’t do without (yea yea, I know I’m a freak…in a good way though).

Linda Ikeji is one of my favorites, she updates juicy stories and I just can’t seem to stay away and the good thing is…my boss is now a fan too so I can read without anyone raising eyebrows. hehehe. (Sometimes, Mrs Boss's conversation starts with “Toinlicious, who is this Kim Kardashian” or  “this Linda sef”! lol. Linda’s fun and fresh and looks good too; I mean seriously, it doesn’t hurt to just stare at her pictures now, does it? She’s smoking hawt! (And I’m straight o thankyouverymuch). Find her here

Rayo…a-way with words is one intense lil lady and like I told her, I shudder to think what drives her to write those stories. Her short stories either give me goose pimples, have me laughing out loud non-stop or starts me tearing up which is quite shameful cos I read most of my blogs at work and people keep asking “tee, are you alright?”, “tee tu tin da rerin (Tee has started laughing by herself) or “tee tun ti bere awon nkan to maan ka yen” (Tee has started reading her usual stuff). She truly is amazing. I checked her blog a while back to re-read those short stories and bam! They’re gone! How dare you deprive me of my “high” after I told u I was addicted to your blog? Have you forgotten that I’m your very own personal blog-stalker ni? Anyways, please keep updating. I impatiently await an anthology of your short stories (noticed she took them off her blog). She's here

Ibi ibi. Ibiluv is one crazy-weird and absolutely amusing lady who has a weird disjointed way of writing but is totally fun to read. She’s open and honest and I sometimes feel like I’m reading an episode of tinsel or desperate housewives.  She is always sooo on point (read the "how far" post).You have to be at least 75 to read her posts sometimes (Even a 75year old would blush). I feel she would be particularly suited to desperate housewives, so full of drama. She’s such a bada*ss and I can totally see her being best friends with Lynette Scarvo or playing the part of Karen Darling in Dirty Sexy Money. She's here

Miz-cynic is weird in a good way and I totally get her plus I suspect she went to my high school because some of her posts mention some of the teachers that couldn’t have been anywhere else but my school. And her escapades...damn! lol. I kinda hoped she made out with that Egyptian chic though, there soooo would have been serious sparks but she’s engaged. But seriously, update jor. here

Carl with a c…arrogant man! Just because he’s good with spinning stories about angels Mourinho and Legna and all and gets me coming back for more, he has refused to update for years! Ok, I exaggerate, months but feels like years anyway. And to think his brother is my sweetheart which brings me to the next person. Anyways, it’s all good. here

Ikenna is Carlang’s brother. Their weirdness runs in the family, just incase you’re wondering. He always cracks me up, that’s if he is not confusing me. Man that guy is weird. Please read his “making a deal with the devil” post and you’ll get my point. He also confuses me at times and I know even he gets confused but somehow he still manages to make sense…genius (check out his “who am I” post and you’ll feel me).  Hope he’s not reading this because his head tends to swell plus he is soooooo cute too lol.  Seriously, dont let the do-not-update bug get you. Update ASAP. lurv ya, mwah. here

There is one person I will however love to start a random blog but I’ve never told her. Maybe I should. Her name is Adunni. She can not say a sentence without using Yoruba proverbs and I’m not even joking.  She is good! I wish I could talk like that! I got “ere ki’laja nba ekun she” (how can a dog think it can make friends with a lion or something like that).  She has a book, y’all should check it out: UNDER BROWN RUSTED ROOFS and nope, she’s not paying me anything for the advert; it’s just that I love the book too much. Come to think of it, even my mother (who is almost 60 by the way, took that book the day I took it home and finished it the following day) I wanted to give about 5 people I know would love me for it as a present but she hasn’t delivered my copies. (So adunni, you are depriving me of serious love from about 5 wonderful people o!

More bloggers on my radar l8a. I’ll be back.

Success

To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by
a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived;
This is to have succeeded.
