RANDOMLY RANDOM :D
So so fine, isn't he? |
Lets
just random, shall we? Good.
Demola
Adedoyin (Aderopo in the October 1 movie) has chased John Dumelo out of my
heart. I am in total, absolute and complete lust *swoons*
Sisiyemmie,
Erniesha and all you married peeps, please honest question. Does the D get
boring after a while? Like, you'll be looking at it and would not want to hop
on it? I'm asking for a friend's friend please. Thanks.
Those
of you with BBM, have you ever purchased those animated BB stickers? BBM stays advertising,
and it annoys me because I'll NEVER buy and I don't know anyone who has either.
So
once upon a time, there was a boy who made me some delish
spaghetti. He was named Pasta but he wasn't all about pasta alone. Veggies,
porridge, yummy beans; this boy could throw down in the kitchen. See en,
there's just something about a man owning your kitchen and cooking in it. You
try to help and they oh so gently remove your hands and tell you to just watch
and enjoy *fluttering lashes* I know my yams were pounded a while back and spaghetti has
now been cooked. And in the voice of Original Mgbeke, that's all she said.
In
trying to sound like a wise person, I have one advice for you: Trying to fit a
round peg into a square hole is really a futile effort. If it doesn't fit,
don't force it. *tweaks wisdom hat and adjusts glasses*
So
I got a UK size 6 dress and I'm sad because it fits. I thought I was a size 8
but apparently, the image of myself in my head is somewhat distorted. Help! I
don't want to disappear! I intend to do some damage this Xmas though. Size 12
coming soon (Please don't rain on my parade, teinks)
I'm loving the Igbo Language. I used to
think Igbo was such a "struggle" Language to learn, but for some
reason, I'm loving it. Maybe I'll end up with an Igbo boo *shines teeth* I've learned a lot lately. Bikonu send your fine brothers, cousins,
uncles or even fathers this way hehe. Coy'm, My sweet step daughter or sister
in-law to be (feel free to choose), I see you. All these my Igbo
cannot waste.
Another advice: Don't be so focused on
your bucket list that you forget to enjoy the here and now. Enjoy the being. Not
everything on your list is supposed to be checked off. *removes glasses and
cleans it*
So I finally opened an Instagram account
here Yay me! Sting aka Nigerian Scorpio said my IG account is ojoro.
lmaoo I wanted to see what y'all look like na
and yes, it is ojoro. Bite me lmaooo. Duru has been on my case to put up
pictures too so maybe I will give you something asides the side of my face soon.
;) #FingersCrossed.
I'm
sorry for being away for so long. God knows my life has
not been truly mine lately. Thanks for the mails,
direct messages and checkups. Love you guys. You have no idea how amazing it feels
to be missed. Priceless I tell you.
I'm so thankful for the new friends I
made and the old ones that still put up with my crazy, I love you guys. I know it's
the season for giving but I'm too lazy swamped to think of a proper
giveaway, so I thought the first 10 people to comment on this post will get a
500 recharge voucher. Please drop your email with your comments. A proper
giveaway will be postponed till next year. Thanks lovelies.
Here's wishing you the most amazeballs
Christmas. Kisses
I'll be back

The 20s Tag
I got tagged by Roselyn K for the Sunshine award earlier this year, which requires 10
random information about me and nominating 10 other bloggers “who positively
and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere.” (I know I should be kicking
myself for responding to this late) I also got tagged by Ugo, Duru, and Damilola for the 20s. I
decided to do these together. *stares at feet* This way, I get to tell you 25
random things. How's that for a deal? Good right? I thought so too. It's a
little hard not repeating stuff though, because I've talked about myself a lot
on this blog, I mean, I've been blogging since 2011! Anyway, you can see here, here, here ,here and here. I just read one of those old posts and I can't stop laughing. I sure
have come a long way. Enough preamble. Lets get to it.
Source |
1. I
love to read. A lot! I haven't had much time for this, but an amazing man got
me a Kindle Paperwhite 3g for my birthday and I've been doing more reading
lately. Best gift ever... next to August Alsina of course. #Don'tAsk I should probably do
a post on my birthday gifts :D
2. I have
learned that what some people say and what they mean are two different things. Circumstances
change, so, I don't trust words so much. Words are cheap. Don't tell me, show me.
3. I'm an amazing listener. I talk a
lot. Scratch that, I'm a certified chatterbox and because of this,
people assume I don't listen much. You'll be shocked at the amount of things I can
remember.
4. I still don't like numbers. Put it
into words and I'm game. I will work with numbers if I have to though.
5. Most of you know I laugh a lot. What you
don't know is, even when something annoys me, is unbelievable or downright ridiculous, i could laugh. So when I laugh at you, be very afraid except of
course you know, you're funny :D
6. I really love words. I think I've mentioned
this before somewhere. I hardly use them though. One of
the first rules of the thumb in Communication is: Kiss: Keep It Short
and Simple.
7. I was with my sister and I legit
didn't steal take anything from her. I actually saw some perfumes and I
made her choose the one to give me. That doesn't sound like me at all. I
usually would have just taken what I wanted and sent her a message on my way
home about my new acquisition so she doesn't bother looking for it. I think someone
has tampered with my DNA 0_0
8. I have a thing for perfumes.
9. I can be very sentimental about gifts. Just
like Dobby, I can hoard stuff that mean
a lot to me. I shocked a friend this year with gifts she gave me in 2001.
10. There's a certain je ne sais quoi about guys with ass *drools*
11. I love bright colours. Yellow is such a yummy
one. I think of myself as a rainbow.
12. I've
got small feet, which are both a blessing (my sisters can't steal my shoes,
yay!) and a curse (because I can't steal theirs either!)
13. I
always use whatever new stuff I get immediately. Like, if I get a new dress
today, best believe I'm wearing it tomorrow. If I get a new pair of earrings
today, I'm removing the ones I'm wearing and switching immediately. Because.
Death happens. (HD, stay away from this one)
14. I think I'm the only person left who
isn't on Instagram. Took me forever to get on Twitter too. Let's see how much
longer I can hold out for.
15. I have recently become a
midnight cereal eater. Because, hunger and weight gain Lol.
16. I don't like drinking water. I know this
isn't healthy, but juice is my thing. Berryblast to be exact.
17. I am hardly ever shy. I can seriously
talk to anyone, anywhere *shrug*
19. I'm very spontaneous, but I can also be
annoyingly sensible. I think spontaneity is my default mode, but growing up is
instilling the "sensible".
20. I choose my battles. I don't blow up at every turn.
I don't waste my energy like that.
21. I'm a bundle of contradictions. Can you tell
already? Lool
22. I love
my Family and I won't trade them for anything. I mean, I want to kill my brother,
half the time! #iKid...Not! But I would not trade any one of them for the
world.
23. I currently have 6 nieces. 2 from each
sibling :D
24. I am a
very determined person. If I say I'll do something, you best believe I will.
25. I'm not
on the fence about God. You know periods where you are stuck and something
gives? I've had several of those. What can I say. I'm a God-Girl, that's who I be, from the top of my head to the toes
of my feet. I can't deny it, wouldn't even try. I'm Your girl in the Crazy
world... (_Jamie
Grace's God girl)
#DoneAndDusted.
I hereby

Abiola, Ms Cookie, Sykik and Cassandra.
Feel
free to tag yourselves if you haven't done this already and please send me a
link so I can go snooping on yours. In the meantime, please share one random thing in your
comment. Thanks for reading.
I'll be
back...soon

I'M COMING OUT!
Nothing but clothes in my
closet people lol. I'm coming out of my hiatus. This coming out is courtesy Ugo
and the cute guy called Duru. He practically dragged me out of this hiatus. He
coaxed, pleaded, begged and damn near threatened hell and brimstone for me to
blog. You really don't want to get on his bad side. How have y'all been? I
truly have missed this place and everyone. Thanks so much for looking out for
me guys. You mean the world. So my birthday came around. Thanks for all the birthday
wishes and gifts. I got the BESTEST
gifts #NoKidding. This girl is aging like fine wine (if I may say so myself).
Y'all didn't think I was a spring chicken did you? This child is about ready to
start life. They say life begins at 40. Apparently I'm currently an egg, not
even larvae yet, not to mention pupa. Anyways, I know I owe you plenty gist.
Let's get it started.
First things first, please
peep at August Alsina. He is cute, no? I mean, he's 22 (yea, I've upgraded from
Adam & finally embracing cougarism) and I don't even like tattoos but him,
I'll most definitely do. I even named some precious *cough* erm possession
after him (Stay away from this Coy and HD). August is my new favourite name #Don'tAsk
SideNote: Honeydame can danceeeeee!
SideNote: Honeydame can danceeeeee!
Do you know how amazing it
feels to be totally down and have a friend call you up and ask how're you're
doing. You say fine and they say, I know you're not. That's why I'm asking
pointedly so out with it. To have someone that sees, knows, gets and listens to
you. No lies, no pretense, no facade or charade. Just honesty and genuine care.
#Amazeballs #LoveLikeALoveSong #BeautifulLifeLovelyFriends #AlwaysAndForever #YouKnowYourselves
Life has been happening as
usual; kicking my ass in places and rocking me in others. The good, the bad and
the absolutely awesome *grin* Life is sweet people. You just need to stick out
your tongue and taste it like sugar.
So I had a car-race
romance lol. You'll say I've come again. I swear, I don't know why these things
happen to me. So there's this guy who interns at my office whom I drop home
because he stays very close to mine. We were on our way home and I was yakking
off as usual when I sped past a T junction and the intern called my attention
to an SUV driver that was staring in our direction. I peeped, the car didn't
look familiar so I turned away and resumed yakking. I sped up and Guy did same.
I slowed & he did same. I sped up again and he did same, parked his ride
and flagged me down. Me kwa, I didn't
wait o. I sped up and guy man followed suit. He stopped a couple more times and
shinned teeth. Mo daran! I was
initially worried I mean, I thought my car was smoking or something. I would
have panicked if I was alone. He was however alone in his ride plus the road
was a sorta busy one. I eventually parked behind his car and guy came down;
face was not familiar and he asked for my number. He even had the audacity to
ask if intern was my boyfriend. I should have said "Yea, I like 'em
younger. Better luck next time" but I didn't. Anyways, that's the end of
this gist. Don't ask for follow up, you hear? You hear? Good.
Earlier in the year, I had
issues making up my mind about what phone I was going to buy. I desperately
needed one & of course used to mention it a lot so my mama decided to
surprise me with a phone. Good, right? You see, she owns a store. She came home
one day and told me some actors came around and used her store for a movie. As
I was rummaging in her bag, found a Galaxy S4 and screamed. I thought it was a
gift for using her store (in my dreams ba)
then I did a double take. It was Samsung Galexy
not a Galaxy and my jaw and
excitement dropped to my feet. My mom, who was obviously still excited asked if
I had seen the gift. I wanted to cry. She came and effusively started talking
about how amazing the phone was. She even said it had "everything". The
phone legit didn't have nada. Rien. Zilch. Just bluetooth. Oh wait, it was
touch screen #FML
Me:
What exactly do you mean by everything?
Mom:
Everything now. Just check well. That was what the "oyinbo" said.
Me: What
Oyinbo? Oyinbos came to market the phones? Caucasians? Ko possible (not
possible).
Mom:
No o. I think they were Chinese.
Me:
*puts-my-head-in-both-hands-falls-flat-on-my-face dead!*
I had to tell her the
phone was a fake then she demanded I refund her money! Ngwanu! How?
See en, I was just weak. I
sha jejely gave the phone to her and
told her to return it.
So Mr. indecent proposal
has finally been laid to rest hopefully. I can't give too much details because
he might find this blog (although I doubt it) but let me just say he was very
inappropriate. Asking for my bra size, wanting to know if I have tasted sperm
before, "mistakenly" brushing my boobs, getting into my personal
space, coming into my office without telling beforehand on a Monday morning!!!
Guy is all kinds of inappropriate, it's mind boggling! Anyways, I've shut that
plane down.
So gist overload. Are
y'all still mad at me for staying away for too long? No? I thought so. Thanks
for forgiving my ikebe. Sharouts & congratulations to New bride Sisiyemmie
and new dad 9jas Great. Stay Ebola free people. Kisses.
P.S: My natural hair
sisters, has anyone living in Nigeria tried this Max Hydration Method?
P.P.S: Please kiss and hug
SingleNigerian whenever you see him. Just do it.
P.P.P.S: Ugo Ukam, your
tag is coming next.
P.P.P.P.S: Atoskin please
go and update :p
P.P.P.P.P.S: Has anyone
heard from Ginger, Unveiling Gold & Naijamum in London?
P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S: I miss
Sting's sting :(
P.P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S: NuttyJ, made your choice yet?

Things To Consider When Buying A Smartphone By Sage Harman
This is a guest post. I figured it
would help if you, like me, find it tasking to make a choice when it comes to
phones. I remember my mom bought me a Samsung Galexy (Yes, Galexy. This is not a typo *tears*) S4 phone earlier in the year. I wanted to cry. I'll talk about it in my next post. I'll even post pictures loool. Enjoy the post.
Considering what give the men in
your life as a gift? If you're thinking ties, handkerchiefs and shirts boring, why
not go for gold and give him a smartphone if you can afford it? You know he
deserves it. But before you run off to your nearest store, take time to review
your options. Mobile phones have come a long way over the years and with
manufacturers constantly inventing new features, the choice of which phone to
purchase can be a bit confusing. Here are a few things to consider before
buying a smartphone.
Platform
Android, iOS and Windows Phone seem
to be the most popular options. You can make your choice of operating system
based on what's most important to you, or in this case, your the recipient -
versatility, user-friendliness, security and customization.
Camera
In this day and age of selfie, there
is a lot to consider. While most smartphones come equipped with cameras capable
of taking 8 megapixel pictures, these days, also take account of resolution,
optical zoom, shutter speed, ISO and other capturing settings and features.
Style
When it comes to physical
appearance, more and more people lean towards the thin and sleek design. Don't
just consider the form factor, though, think about the screen size, weight,
keyboard, Retina display, and portability.
Applications
It's important to consider the
phone's compatibility to apps. Apps are programs that perform different
functions. Almost all smartphones have the ability to support applications.
Health monitor, GPS device, scanner, TV and video apps, digital wallet, and
mobile hotspot are just some of the popular ones you can install on your
smartphone.
Battery Life
Smartphones, with all the amazing
things you can do with it, are like mini computers. Of course, you'd want to
get one with a long battery life. But you might also want to consider the
option of replacing the battery when you're unable to charge up. Some phones
have built-in batteries that you can't remove for example. So if you require a
lot more power, go with one that has a replaceable battery.
Storage Capacities
Most smartphones carry an option of
2GB to 64GB built-in memory. If you think you would need more storage space,
consider buying a phone that supports memory cards.
Connection
Since smartphones are portable
gadgets, you should take connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Mobile hotspot) into
consideration.
Most major phone companies now offer
smartphone plans that fit every budget. There are a wide variety of models and
features to choose from. But I guess what it will all come down to is the price
you are willing to pay. You don't want to spend a lot but you don't want to
miss out on important features for a small price difference either. It's best
to take the time to research and consider all your options so you can make an
informed decision.
